Agricultural acaricides
Combats the invisible threat

Protect your crops, eliminate mites, prevent losses and gain peace of mind.

Control and eliminate mite infestations

They develop resistance easily, so it is necessary to rotate between acaricides.

Sulphur remains the most widely used, especially in vineyards and orchards.

Some new insecticides are also effective against mites.

The most effective acaricides for your crops

Traditional and ecological use of sulphur

One of the oldest and most widely used acaricides. It acts on contact and has a suffocating effect on mites such as red spider mites. Approved for organic farming. Ideal for vineyards, fruit trees and horticultural crops. Economical, but less effective in cases of heavy infestation or extreme temperatures.

Specific and persistent modern acaricides

Products such as abamectin, dynamite, fenpyroximate, or clofentezine offer more precise control. Some neurotoxins kill eggs and larvae. We recommend rotation strategies to avoid resistance; even today, there are already acaricide insecticides available.

Frequently asked questions about agricultural acaricides

What exactly is an acaricide and what is it used for?

To eliminate or control populations of mites that damage plants, animals, or structures. In agriculture, they are mainly used to protect crops from species such as the red spider mite (Tetranychus urticae). At Agrosafor, we analyse and recommend specialised solutions for your problem.

The best time to apply an acaricide is when the first signs of infestation are detected, before the mite population explodes.
It is also advisable to apply them in dry weather conditions. Contact the professionals at Agrosafor for the best recommendations and support.

Sulphur is one of the most popular and oldest acaricides for several reasons: it is effective and economical against mites such as red spider mites.
It acts by direct contact and also has fungicidal action, making it useful against powdery mildew and other diseases. It is authorised for use in organic farming, as it is a natural and inorganic product. It has low toxicity for humans and most beneficial insects.

The safety interval varies depending on the product. For natural or organic acaricides such as sulphur, the interval is usually 0 to 3 days. For chemical products (abamectin, clofentezine, fenpyroximate, etc.), the interval can range from 7 to 21 days. Please consult us if you have any questions.

Mites affect a wide variety of crops, especially in hot, dry conditions. Vegetables, fruit trees, vines, ornamental plants, greenhouse plants… Plan your fallow period, planting or sowing, growth and harvest with a professional from Agrosafor.
